Quality leadership foresight is essential to plan for COVID-19 pandemic uncertainties. Foresight includes an ability to develop insightful forward views, without the benefit of learning from past events. The leadership team has to be adaptive, creative and practical. The CEOs have to harness the ability of their teams and boards to develop foresight. Teams are as capable as the weakest link in the team. The CEO needs boldness to put weak players ‘on the bench’, to avoid compromising foresight and related organizational resilience.
